Christmas season

Experience the very special New Year’s Eve atmosphere at Restaurant Grøften and in the Tivoli Gardens. Our head chef has created two wonderful New Year’s Eve menus. All you need to do is decide if you prefer a 3- or 4-course menu, and buy your tickets here we’ll take care of everything else!

We meet at Grøften at 7 pm and celebrate the night together. At 11 pm the Tivoli New Year’s Eve fireworks will begin – not to be missed! Best place for a great view is the lawn in the middle of the Gardens 1 min. walk from the restaurant.


Shellfish eggs Royale, Cognac, whipped cream, and fennel crudités

Tournedos Rossini:
Tenderloin of beef, pommes Anna, port sauce, truffle, and fried foie gras

“Mature and crunchy”
(like your’s truly):
Traditional Danish matured cheese w/ sea salt, compote, crackers, and crisp bread

Dark chocolate mousse:
Salt caramel, crunchy rye bread, and lemon sorbet

4-course menu:   799 kr.


Jerusalem artichoke soup:
Jerusalem artichoke crisps, beans, salt-lemon, rose pepper 

Steak from selery:
Salt encrusted and baked selery, flamed onions, morchelle sauce, and truffle

Pineapple carpaccio:
Sliced pineapple, rum caramel, crunchy fruits, and lemon sorbet
